Society of Autism Families Meets with Executives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Development
The Society of Autism Families held an important meeting with top officials from the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, including His Excellency the President of the Executive Board of the Ministry, in addition to the Chief Executive Officer of the Special Needs Commission Dr. Hisham Mohammad Al Haidari
Through this meeting, a set of necessary steps have been concluded that need to be addressed in a joint effort between the Ministry, SAF, the Commission, and other governmental agencies, which include:
1- That the Commission raises the demand difference organizations concerned with the provision of guidelines specialized with addressing the requirements of Autistic individuals
2- The Chairman of the Society of Autism Families has raised a demand the creation of committees that fall under the jurisdiction of the Society and the Commission
3- The Chairman of the Society of Autism Families has raised a demand for the arrangement of several workshops in collaboration between SAF and the Commission
4- The Chairman of SAF has requested the need to prepare and handover a list separate from the other disabilities that lists only those members with Autism
